For those firms interested in receiving and testing GUS-MQM messages, the GUS-MQM test environment will be available this week for three days only, --Wednesday January 31, 2002 through February 1, 2002. This notice contains important information you should be aware of in preparation for testing.

TEST ENVIRONMENT

The real-time GUS-MQM test environment provides firms the opportunity to enter trades, change data, and transmit and receive GUS TREX messages via MQM. There are two test options available for testing as follows:

• Option1: Test the ability to transmit/receive/process TREX messages for GUS transactions, which will be used in place of the on-line GUS system.

• Option 2: Test the ability to receive TREX messages, instead of the RJE files, for all GUS transactions entered on-line.

All Firms interested in converting to GUS-MQM are encouraged to participate in this upcoming test.  Prior to the test, firms must ensure that their test MQM queues which will access our CICS17 environment has been set up.  Please specify in advance of the test, if your firm desires a unique GUS-MQM queue.  Additionally, all Users that need access to the on-line GUS test system, (GUS-T on your Super Session menu) must submit their Id�s to Client Management in advance of the test.
